Why do I smell even after showering?
Puberty changes how your sweat glands work. When sweat mixes with bacteria on your skin, it can cause body odour (BO).
Try washing regularly, drying properly, changing underwear and socks daily, and wearing clean clothes.
What's the difference between deodorant and antiperspirant?
Deodorant helps control smell. Antiperspirant helps reduce how much you sweat.
Is body hair normal?
Absolutely. Hair grows in different places during puberty. Whether you shave, trim or leave it alone is your choice.
Why does my body smell different down there?
Genitals have a natural smell, and that doesn't mean they're dirty. Gently wash the outside with water. Avoid perfumed products inside the vagina and never douche.
If you notice a strong new smell, itching, pain or unusual discharge, speak to a health professional.
